 Personally I would vote for continuing the existing wireshark port as a
 GTK default build of the 1.x stream and adding a new port for wireshark2
 that defaults to a qt build. Managing the transition to a qt based build
 should be a deliberate choice, not the default upgrade path for existing
 wireshark users. That way we can make a clean break from the previous
 variants.
