 The build fails because 10.6 SDK does not define
 PTHREAD_RECURSIVE_MUTEX_INITIALIZER. 10.7 and later do.

 This is an upstream issue, see
 https://github.com/Itseez/opencv/issues/5476

 A solution was proposed upstream, but not yet implemented.
