 The `base` package is provided by GHC itself. Unfortunately as I've
 recently learned ABI interfaces of GHC are currently not stable between
 rebuilds in MacPorts, because we enable parallel building, which way cause
 this issue.

 I will look into it when I fix that and when I update haskell-platform to
 7.10.3.
