Comment:

 The proposed patch was applied in r143449.[[BR]]
 To modify destroot.env the is now an option (r143452).[[BR]]
 It is turned on by default to maintain current behavior.

 py-numpy apparently has trouble if build.env and destroot.env are
 inconsistent (#34562).
