 As I read under [https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/25342] or
 [https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/27057] or [https://github.com
 /rust-lang/rust/issues/26581] work has been done by the rust developers to
 enable MaxOSX 10.6 support, in particular using the configure option
 {{{--disable-elf-tls}}}. I would love if this work-around could be adopted
 on the Portfile level for Darwin 10. Presently I obtain this blocking
 message when trying to install:

 Error: rust is only supported on OS X 10.7 Lion or later.
 }}}
