 I've run into a similar issue that occurred in earlier tickets for
 libnetpbm on El Capitain - installing veda-gaf has libnetpbm as a
 dependency. It fails. Trying to install libnetpbm gives the same error
 just for that one package:

 nicksshinyobject:~ cad$ sudo port install libnetpbm
 --->  Computing dependencies for libnetpbm
 --->  Fetching distfiles for libnetpbm

 Short of having you folks update the geda-gaf and libnetpbm install script
 (which you maya some point), is there a procedure to manually install
 libnetpbm? I was able to get the source from the libnetpbm website.
