 I followed another approach. Rather than using the provided
 autogen.sh+configure+build+install only to provide translations in the
 index.theme file, I wrote a dedicated `destroot` block that gets the
 required files from `filespath`. I've left in the original code as a
 comment; maybe I should put it in a variant for when I need to regenerate
 the 3 files in questions.
