 What was the eventual solution to this problem? Was it solved by
 opening/closing XCode?

 I can't `sudo port upgrade outdated` due to this same failure on building
 aquaterm ("Abort Trap 6"), even with XCode/iOS simulators/XCode CLI
 working properly, all licenses agreed to.
 #45445 doesn't appear to have a solution.
