 And how backward-compatible is lua 5.3 with lua 5.2? Because that's been a
 problem with major lua releases in the past, to the extent that I've
 wanted there to be separate ports for each major lua version. We already
 have ports lua, lua50 and lua51; I propose we also have lua52 and lua53,
 make the lua port `replaced_by lua53`, and make sure all these ports
 install to similar but nonconflicting locations.
