 -First time round, I followed your instructions exactly[[BR]]
 -I noticed that Bison was not built as it was already installed[[BR]]
 -flex installed and mesa failed to build with another error (not same one
 as before)(log not included)[[BR]]
 -I did:
 {{{
 sudo port uninstall bison
 sudo port -v -s install bison
 }}}
 since I had a hunch that Bison might need to be rebuilt[[BR]]
 -I did:
 {{{
 sudo port -v -s install mesa
 }}}
 -It built with apple-gcc-4.2 and installed properly!!!

 Definitely, I would suggest adding flex and bison as dependents as they
 were needed in my case!
 It's strange that I needed to rebuild bison and that wasn't caught using
 the rev-upgrade mechanism. Weird.
