 With {{{py34-scipy @0.14.1_2+gcc48}}} on OS X 10.10 I get a ton of fails
 and eventually the process hangs at 100% CPU if I run:
 {{{
 time python -c 'import scipy; scipy.test(verbose=10)'
 }}}
