 Is it possible to add a Python 3.4 subport for {{{py-matplotlib-
 basemap}}}?

 This was already discussed in this issue starting here:
 https://trac.macports.org/ticket/45584#comment:6

 But it wan't 100% clear (at least to me) what exactly should be done to
 make this happen.

 Before I saw this other issue I asked in the {{{basemap}}} issue tracker
 if they support Python 3 in version 1.0.7, because it wasn't clear from
 their REAME or the PyPI page:
