 The difference is that with that patch that you uploaded I had to run
 `patch -p3 root.diff`, while usually it would be `patch -p0 root.diff`. In
 principle it doesn't matter, I could just as well add `-p3` to the
 compiler flags, but I always assume that it's a top level patch and almost
 never check. Then it fails to work with the default command.
