 The code that was removed in r129111 doesn't look like it was completely
 correct. I'm not sure why the `catch` portion was there. And although it
 correctly ensures that if py*-cairo is built +x11 then cairo must be built
 +x11, it does not ensure that if py*-cairo is built -x11 then cairo must
 be built -x11.
