 If you installed root with MacPorts, you probably ran:

 sudo port install root
 }}}

 To see what files were installed by MacPorts when you ran this, run:

 {{{
 port contents root
 }}}

 To uninstall root, run:

 {{{
 sudo port uninstall root
 }}}
