 So, I tried installing the encfs port today and got a series of warnings
 before receiving this error:

 :info:configure aclocal: error: aclocal: file
 '/opt/local/share/aclocal/wxwin.m4' does not exist
 }}}

 This file does exist and is part of the wxwidgets-3.0 installation, I
 believe. I tried changing its permissions to a+rx, but that did not help.
 I tried force deactivating wxwidgets-3.0 and that did not help.

 I also consulted with #macports and the thinking is that this is a bug.

 I have attached the installation log to this ticket.
