 The distfile does exist in
 http://jog.id.distfiles.macports.org/macports/distfiles/freetype/

 The URL you referred to is for the pre-built packages. Our build servers
 have been offline so many recent port updates are unavailable as pre-built
 packages. See #47976, #48025, and #48116. This is not a critical problem;
 MacPorts can still build these ports for you from source.

 Note that distfiles and packages are never uploaded manually. Distfiles
 are mirrored automatically by our infrastructure, and packages are built
 automatically by the build servers.
