 You are right, this is debatable.  Besides, since I first discovered that
 Bison did not install the examples itself, I fixed it in the following
 release.  So I expect that this part of the patch is no longer needed.  I
 don't have time right now to check that, but unless someone beats me, I
 will in the near future.
