 I think this problem was due to compiling the one objective C file in the
 R sources with mp gcc rather than the Apple provided compiler. Anyway, the
 R port now uses mp gcc (gfortran actually) to compile the fortran sources
 and the Apple provided compilers to compile everything else so I don't
 think this should be an issue any longer.
