 We’d rather not keep around old versions unnecessarily. Perhaps someone
 should ask upstream if upgrading from 4 to 5 poses issues.

 Sounds like the configure script calls “perl” instead of “perl5.16”. It
 should probably be forced to use “perl5.16”.
