 Is there a way to either patch mongodb in a way, that it will compile on
 Snow Leopard or a way to exclude the mongodb 3.0.x from the list of
 updates which are available for Snow Leopard?

 When I run "port upgrade outdated" then this is what happens:

 There is no pre-compiled version of mongodb 3.0.x for darwin 10, so I
 think, that then MacPorts tries to download the source and compile it
 locally, what always results in a failure.
