 LaTexit 2.7.5, which I just downloaded from
 http://www.chachatelier.fr/latexit/latexit-downloads.php?lang=en, renders
 fine on my Yosemite 10.10 machine.  Perhaps someone could try to build it
 under MacPorts, and if it works, update the port?  I'm afraid I'm too
 unfamiliar with the internals of the port system to make progress on this
 myself.
