 Maybe I'm not seeing crashes because the 2 meinproc4 instances do not
 actually execute in parallel - whether this is the case will depend in
 part on CPU and disk speed. It is also possible that something changed
 since kdelibs 4.14.3 : my kdelibs4 port directory is here:
 https://github.com/RJVB/mp-port-repository/tree/master/kde/kdelibs4

 I'll be attaching a patch that uses `KLockFile` to lock out other
 instances from executing in the same directory at the same time; the lock
 is closed/obtained just before the actual processing begins.
