 I don't think we have a directive to do that, do we? I would have to write
 the code to do that. Something like if `${configure.universal_archs}`
 contains "ppc" and it contains "86", then `universal_variant no`. That's
 assuming the muniversal portgroup even honors `universal_variant no`,
 which it looks like it does not. So then it becomes if
 `${configure.universal_archs}` does not contain "ppc" and "86", then
 include the muniversal portgroup. Which would mean making sure the port
 works correctly whether or not the muniversal portgroup is included, which
 might be complicated, though I don't see anything immediately problematic
 about that in icu.
