 Yep, I was able to compile and run mpv successfuly.

 Thanks again Ionic, really appreciate it.

 PS: I was wondering if I can compile mpv, without the player window
 (cocoa/Mac window decorator) which popups up when I play a file. As I use
 dwm (tiling window manager) and love how mplayer fits nicely into a tiled
 window, with out any new windows opening outside the context of the tiling
 window manager.

 Is the above possible with mpv?, what options should I be passing during
 compilation to achieve this.
