Comment:

 We would rather not switch to fetching from git if we can avoid it. And in
 this case it looks like it can be easily avoided because there is only
 very minimal change between 4.14.3 and what you've called 4.14.3.1 -- only
 one commit, in fact. And I can't find any evidence of this actually being
 known as 4.14.3.1 by upstream.

 I propose instead just to add a patchfile for this one commit and increase
 the revision. See attached.
