Comment:

 Alright. The change was introduced following ticket #49299 in an attempt
 to enable compilation, but if this just induces linking problems, then
 there is no way around it. Some cleanup committed in r142081, and patch of
 this ticket committed in r142082. Akonadi also fully requires c++11 at
 configuration, so there is no possibility of building a "reduced" port
 which could be compliant with older OSes.
