 I just verified it (`git-flow-avh @1.8.0_2` on `macports 2.3.4`) works for
 me on 10.10.5. Not sure what the weirdness is.  I noticed when I `sudo
 port -v checksum git-flow-avh` it reports a checksum mismatch, even though
 it will install just fine.  I recall having to do something different to
 get the hashes working, but it's been so long, I forget what that was ...

 There has been an update, as well as issues w/ the base nvie `git-flow`
 (#49539).  I'll see if I can address both issue in an update.
