 Actually, I think I see the problem - I have two xorg-libXt ports
 installed:

 --->      xorg-libXt @1.1.5_1+flat_namespace
 --->      xorg-libXt @1.1.5_1+universal (active)

 So I uninstalled the "+universal" (and dependencies), and now openmotif
 has installed without issue.
