 On a whim, I looked to see if 'port clean vim' was actually removing the
 downloaded files.  It's not.  So, I did:

 $ rm /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/vim/7.4/*.html
 $ port clean vim    # seems to reset macports so it'll re-download
 $ port upgrade outdated
 [downloads problem files again, same fail]
