 Agreed.  In the bzr case, it should be possible to enable a more verbose
 transfer mode.  Currently, it is completely silent until the transfer is
 complete so it's hard to tell if something is happening or not.  Do the
 buildbots have a set timeout period when waiting for output on stdio and
 if so what is it? Are there specific network protocols that are blocked at
 Apple?
