 Sorry, but I don't understand. I have just done this:

 {{{
 $ sudo port selfupdate
 ---> Updating MacPorts base sources using rsync
 MacPorts base version 2.3.4 installed,
 MacPorts base version 2.3.4 downloaded.
 --->  Updating the ports tree
 ---> MacPorts base is already the latest version

 The ports tree has been updated. To upgrade your installed ports, you
 should run
   port upgrade outdated

 $ sudo port outdated
 No installed ports are outdated.
 }}}

 but:

 {{{
 $ root -l
 dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libRint.6.so
   Referenced from: /opt/local/libexec/root6/bin/root.exe
   Reason: image not found
 }}}

 So, how can I fix my MacPorts installation? Please, explain step by step.

   Angelo
