 Josh, what are your thoughts on the best way to identify and remove the
 unregistered files? My plan was going to be to first remove the registry
 and old archives. Then for each unregistered file we find, identify the
 port it came from (by looking on my system or elsewhere), then force-
 activate the port that provided it, then deactivate it. Then later remove
 the .mp_* files.
