 I'm sorry, I'm not very familiar with that programmer, so I wouldn't know
 if the code fixes and does not have side effects on other hardware (as per
 [https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/avrdude-dev/2013-09/msg00164.html
 this] response). You should submit this patch upstream.
