 Everything seems to work fine in xfig (all drawing features and GUI
 elements) EXCEPT for textfields.  I know to have my mouse cursor in the
 textfield and type.  Clicking first doesn't help.  I discovered this first
 trying to type a filename for SaveAs, and later when trying to Edit a Text
 element to change its text.  Note that it DOES work to type text on the
 drawing using the Text mode tool.  It fails in the Edit inspector which
 uses a textfield to change the text.  It's as if the textfield GUI element
 is in readonly mode everywhere it is used.
