 I'm not able to reproduce this on OS X 10.10 or 10.9 0 it seems to work
 fine there. The only other Mac we have is running OS X 10.5, but it's in
 use at the moment. I'll test it there when the machine is free.

 pkgconfig is only used to check for BLAS, and BLAS is not needed. It uses
 the [http://www1.icsi.berkeley.edu/~bilmes/phipac/ PHiPAC] dgemm (by the
 same author as GMTK) included in the GMTK source unless the user requests
 a specific BLAS or MKL via configure.
