 You don't need to redefine version when github.setup is given. I updated
 to version 1.0.1. I still have problem. mpicc is used to compile
 syncimages2.c.o. Adding environment variable
 {{{
 build.env           ARMCI_CC=${configure.cc}
 }}}
 didn't help. Note mpicc is available only if port select mpi is used and
 should not rely on it.
