Comment:

 I don’t think the situation satisfies
 [https://guide.macports.org/chunked/project.update-policies.html#project
 .update-policies.abandonment the abandonment criteria], and I am not
 interested in sharing maintainership. Thank you for the patch, though. I
 had hoped to resolve some issues with the port before updating it, but I
 might as well table those improvements for now.
