Comment:

 Worked around the problem in r140047 by forcing the use of libstdc++ even
 on Mavericks and later. Thanks to [https://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail
 /macports-users/2015-September/039184.html Dave for suggesting this] on
 the mailing list while Trac was down.
