Comment:

 That was not clean attempt. Please run
 {{{
 $ sudo port clean parallel
 $ sudo port selfupdate
 $ sudo port install parallel
 }}}
 and attach the log if it fails.

 The command
 {{{
 $ port list automake
 }}}
 doesn't show the installed/activated version but the latest version
 available.
 Use
 {{{
 $ port installed automake
 }}}
 to find out the installed/activated version and report the output here.


 In the future please fill in the port field and Cc the port maintainer
 ({{{port info --maintainer parallel}}}) when you open a ticket.
