 Josh suggested that what we probably need to do is restore the tensix-
 slave virtual machine to a snapshot taken before the MacPorts registry
 corruption began, which was on May 18, 2015 so we would need to go earlier
 than that.

 After getting the vm back up and running with the old snapshot, its disk
 size should be increased so that the corruption doesn't happen again.
