#48914: Processing of port tex-whizzytex failed
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------
 Reporter: viviannevilar@… | Owner: macports-tickets@…
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3
Keywords: whizzytex, x11, xquartz | Port:
-------------------------------------+--------------------------------
I tried to install tex-whizzytex using

 sudo port install tex-whizzytex

My first complaint is that it installed texlive all over again. Now some
packages are missing and I can't compile my latex documents. Plus I don't
have the luxury of unlimited internet data. That little detail is going to
cost me a lot in terms of time and money.

The other complaint is that after all that the installation of whizzytex
 failed. I got the error:

Error: org.macports.configure for port tex-whizzytex returned: command
 execution failed
Please see the log file for port tex-whizzytex for details:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports
 .org_release_tarballs_ports_tex_tex-whizzytex/tex-whizzytex/main.log
To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide:
     http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets
Error: Processing of port tex-whizzytex failed

 I did a

sudo port clean tex-whizzytex as per guidelines and tried again without
 success.

I don't really understand much of terminal and commands, but looking at
the log this caught my attention

The file /Applications/Utilities/X11.app does not exist

Well, I have XQuartz.app there, which is the X11.app now. Could this be
the reason for the problem? Anyway, the full log is attached to this
 message.
