 Thanks for the information!

 Actually:
 - The test tarball for valgrind 3.11 didn't build for me on Mac OS 10.6.8
 (but it compiled on Mac 10.8.5).
 - One of the developers replied that he "[has] development environments
 setup as far back as OS X 10.7 that [he] routinely [tests] with"
 (http://sourceforge.net/p/valgrind/mailman/message/34477716/).

 Therefore, valgrind 3.11 should support OS X 10.7 through 10.11.
