 Your tried to update git immediatly it was updated in MacPorts. The
 distfiles weren't available on the mirrors then.
 For some reason the certificate verification on the original site failed
 on your machine.

 What version of OSX are you running? Older versions may not have the right
 CA certificate installed.

 Please try again, the distfiles are now available on the mirrors (e.g.:
 http://distfiles.macports.org/git/).
