 Also, the clang-based assembler is not part of the upstream llvm.org
 builds. This feature seems to be an Apple specific replacement for the
 legacy GNU based assembler.  It is really unclear where Apple would
 contribute that code into the llvm.org project anyway as it isn't really
 part of cfe needs requires to build against it.
