 Metis will not install from source with Xcode 7.3.  It did build with
 Xcode 7.2.1 and it installs fine as a binary.
 I have attached a log file.
 The following two links suggest that it is actually a compiler bug in
 LLVM, but I don't know if they are correct or not:
