 This would be my guess. If you have 10.7 running, you could simply test
 it. If you would just trace the events and print the type, then the
 Magnify and Rotate events will result in a fill_pinch_event call which
 will call [nsevent phase]. I would now expect a crash once a Magnify or
 Rotate event will be called with phase property.
