 I was attempting to port gds onto my macbook (running OS X) when I ran
 into the error: command execution failed. It was attempting to build ldas-
 tools. I've attempted to clean the port and reinstall, install ldas-tools
 independent of gds (and clean, reinstall). The log file's first sign of
 trouble is "all paths through this function will call itself". The
 info:build exit code: 2, and the debug:build error code generated is:
 "CHILDSTATUS 54579 2"
