 You should attach the main.log file so that we can see exactly what went
 wrong.

 The use of the python ports' +ucs4 variant is not recommended, because it
 causes build failures of some other ports.

 MacPorts doesn't have the ability for a port to declare a dependency on a
 variant of another port. See #126. As much as possible, variants should
 not be used for capabilities that other ports might need to depend on.
