 I've returned from holidays and will be getting back into the saddle over
 the coming days. port:kf5-kdenlive will definitely be one of the ports
 I'll be looking to upgrade, but all KF5 ports are currently in a testing
 state and not yet included in the main ports tree.
 I do not recall any particular difficulties with getting Kdenlive to build
 and run (I did commit a patch or 2). The real technical difficulties are
 with getting the KF5 frameworks to build and function like we want them to
 under MacPorts, i.e. in a way that "things work" as much as possible as
 they do under Linux. That's the best way to ensure that applications using
 the KF5 frameworks work as expected. Sadly it requires patching Qt,
 though, which makes it a challenge.
